CyberAct

Inspiration

The inspiration came when I discovered a wonderful non profit organization by accident online. It made me think about how many other like it exist without a common place where people can discover them.

What it does

This website creates a platform for nonprofits to post their information.

How we built it

This website is built using Django, with html and css files.

Challenges we ran into

There were many challenges on the way, such as incorporating css files into html templates (statics folder), collaborating on the code, and making the form and database.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are pround that we, as first time hackathon participators, are able to put this together and overcome the many challenges on the way.

What we learned

We learned many things, both technical and regarding teamwork that would prove useful in future project making.

What's next for CyberAct

There are a lot of features we thought about but didn't get to include, and that's definitely something we could continue doing.
