The inspiration behind CuriouSTEAM was to create a platform that promotes curiosity and exploration in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). We wanted to provide a space where individuals can easily access educational resources, discover career opportunities, and stay updated with industry trends.

What it does

CuriouSTEAM serves as a comprehensive hub for STEAM enthusiasts. It offers features such as Career Profiles, Expert Interviews, Educational Pathways, Industry Trends, Events and Conferences, and Resources and Tools. Users can explore diverse STEAM topics, gain insights from professionals, discover learning pathways, and stay connected with the latest developments in the field.

How we built it

CuriouSTEAM was built using a combination of modern web technologies. The frontend was developed using React, leveraging libraries like React Router and Framer Motion for seamless navigation and engaging animations. The project also incorporates various design assets, such as icons and images, to enhance the user experience.

Challenges we ran into

During the development process, we faced challenges in integrating the map functionality for events and conferences, ensuring smooth animations and transitions, and optimizing the performance of the website.

Throughout the development of CuriouSTEAM, we gained valuable experience in front-end, UI/UX design, data integration, and project management. What's next for CuriouSTEAM

In the future, we envision expanding CuriouSTEAM's features and content offerings. We aim to continuously update and add new career profiles, expert interviews, educational pathways, and industry trends to keep our users informed and inspired. We want to add actual pathways currently it's just a basic UI
