Social → public safety Inspiration for the problem you are addressing? The recent rise in domestic abuse and to answer the question what should one do if they are abused or how they should deal with being abused. How does your project positively impacts teenagers? Many teenagers witness their parents suffer from domestic abuse and are unsure of how to proceed. This app provides them with information and places to go in order to stop this abuse. What are your Project Features? It contains a map with all the local domestic abuse help centers in the user’s area and an information page about domestic abuse. What did you use to build your project? (language, API's, libraries, etc) Java, google maps, Android Studio, xml Any problems encountered: We were not able to implement all our idea such a the gps that checks for the current location and includes a data base of the nation's domestic abuse help centers. What have you learned? How to proficiently work with android studio and how to split our work efficiently.
