CrystalFrame

Inspiration

Over the last decade I have re-created the rooms I've lived in. I'd measure all the walls and furniture, and create simple 3d models.

Now, with Meta Hyperspace Capture, I can capture these spaces with high detail.

For this hackathon, I created CrystalFrame. This explores the idea of an interactive photo album inside of your virtual space. Imagine hosting guests in VR, or giving friends the ability to visit and explore your virtual environments.

What we learned

Texture Arrays, Index based logic for rotation and scale that uses map variable (Index array mapped to array of rotations and scales.

What's next for CrystalFrame

There is a future where people purchase 'smart objects' for their virtual homes.
