h1 The Project
Our project ties together two interesting fields. Blockchain and Home assistants. We created a game: Cryptoturtles, a game where people can trade, breed and fight their turtles with a custom built permissioned blockchain proving authenticity of users turtles as well as their stat points. We integrated Amazon Echo as a vector by which people can communicate with the blockchain. This allows people to battle, breed and fight their turtles using just their voice. Our project can be broken down into several different projects our team members undertook.
h2 The Components
h3 ICO
Turtle Coins can be bought via a Crowdsale. Turtle Coins grant the holder special privileges which are discussed below.
h3 Request layer
Every month any holder of TurtleCoins is eligible to generate 5 new turtles. These turtles have new attributes based on a random factor and their parents genetics.
h3 Alexa
Amazon Echo can be used to gather turtle information from the blockchain and report back to the user as well as to create turtles if the user has enough turtle coin.
