Inspiration
Fun game to make with friends
What it does
Two player card battling game
How we built it
The user interface is built with Scratch The smart contract uses Solidity and runs on Loom, which is a layer 2 solution for Ethereum
Challenges we ran into
Getting Scratch 3.0 extensions to work as they haven't officially been released yet Deploying to Ropsten using Truffle
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Designing the game mechanics Artwork and properties of the game cards UI for a lot of the game interactions Building the Solidity contract for the game's engine Creating a custom Scratch 3.0 extension for the game interactions Dockerised Scratch 3.0 with the extensions Continuous integration to build and deploy to Heroku
What we learned
You can have different user interfaces when there is a common smart contract governing a game
What's next for Crypto Beasts
Back to school for these kids!
