Inspiration

Allowing transparent and automated way thanks to smart contracts to allow users to invest, in growing short-term rentals market

What it does

Enable ordinary people to invest in real estates and short-term rentals, using cryptocurrencies. Connect traditional real estates investment with the new crypto investors, with ensured return interests.

How we built it

We used WordPress for the website and Solidity for the Smart Contracts on the Ethereum platform. We use web3 to interact with the smart contracts along with a little more Javascript.

Challenges we ran into

The highest challenge was learning Solidity at the same time as we had to build the project. Also we faced issues because solidity doesn't allow float numbers. It was a great experience and we learned a lot facing those challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

During our research, short-term rentals have huge potential and the crypto holders have been long-term investors.

What we learned

We learned a lot during this project and we understand the technology, the market, and the business side of Crowd Properties.

What's next for Crowd Properties

After having a full release, we will get into student off-campus rentals, and roll out our business model in other regions.
