Inspiration

As climate change increases, crop yield and weather become harder and harder to predict. Our application aims to use ML to solve these problems my providing estimates for each of these factors in advance, making it easier for farmers to plan what crops they want to grow.

What it does

We also provide features such as

  • Plant disease detection using a CNN
  • Ensemble ML predictions for weather and crop yield
  • And Firewatch Api, which notifies the farmer if there is a wildfire close to their farm location using GIS apis and web scraping

How we built it

HTML/CSS/JS for front-end, Python, Flask for backend and machine learning
