🧠 Inspiration

Credit cards confuse and intimidate many people. From overwhelming options to unclear benefits, users struggle to know which card actually fits their lifestyle. Through user research, we found both beginners and experienced cardholders lacked personalized guidance. That’s why we built CreditMob — an AI-powered roadmap that helps you understand, build, and optimize your credit journey.

💳 What It Does

CreditMob creates a personalized credit card roadmap. Users describe their lifestyle — like “I travel often and eat out a lot” — and CreditMob recommends the best cards that match their habits. It visualizes your credit growth journey, suggests your next best card, and even provides voice-guided insights using ElevenLabs.

🛠️ How We Built It

We used FastAPI for the backend and React + Tailwind for the frontend. User input is processed with Google Gemini to extract intent, then transformed into vector embeddings for both users and cards. Using cosine similarity, we rank cards by how closely they align with each user’s profile. ElevenLabs adds natural voice narration for an interactive experience.

⚙️ Challenges

Building meaningful embeddings, fine-tuning Gemini outputs, and integrating AI with real-time performance — all within 12 hours — was tough but rewarding.

🏆 Accomplishments

We built an end-to-end AI-powered recommendation system with real-time voice output and an intuitive UI. It makes credit card decisions simple, personalized, and engaging.

We learned how to merge machine learning, natural language understanding, and user experience into one cohesive tool that simplifies financial literacy.
