Homework 2: Normal Assignment

Inspiration

Erica started learning VBA this semester and thought it would be fun to use it for more than just Monte Carlo simulations!

What it does

Homework 2: Normal Assignment uses Excel VBA macros to create an interactive story about a student who likes Excel just a little too much.

How we built it

We created Excel macros to run the story, including variable dialogue options and changing sheets on predetermined criteria.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into problems with the text box implementation and how to get that to work for what we wanted it to do. Additionally, we couldn't quite figure out how to make our character sprites work the way we wanted them to!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the entire project and the work we put into it to finish it!

What we learned

We both learned more of the inner workings of VBA and how we can combine it with a creative plot for a user experience one might not expect for Excel.

What's next for Homework 2: Normal Assignment?

A nap.. and then Homework 3????
