Inspiration 💡
We were inspired by Cursor's sleek, minimalist code editor UI and the growing demand for efficient social media content creation. The idea for CreateFlowAI sparked from creators' needs for a fast, platform-tailored tool. We envisioned a one-shot web app using Bolt.new AI, mimicking Cursor's aesthetic with a dark-themed, neon-accented design and GT Super font, to streamline prompt-based content generation.
In today's fast-paced digital world, content creators often struggle with generating platform-specific content that resonates with their audience across multiple social media platforms. Traditional content creation tools can be overwhelming, time-consuming, and lack the specialized features needed for different platforms' unique requirements and formatting constraints.
What it does 🤔
CreateFlowAI is a one-shot web app that enables creators to generate platform-specific captions/posts for X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Users begin by selecting a platform via an interactive sidebar, which triggers an adaptive preview in the middle editor. The sidebar provides comprehensive tools including AI-generated suggestions, a history panel for revisiting previous ideas, and a gamified dashboard that tracks posts and badges to encourage consistent content creation.
The platform automatically adapts content generation based on each social media platform's unique requirements:
- X (Twitter): Optimized for 280-character limit with trending hashtags
- Instagram: Focus on visual storytelling with strategic hashtag placement
- YouTube: Engaging titles and descriptions for video content
- LinkedIn: Professional tone with industry-relevant keywords
Styled with glassmorphism, neon accents, and a monospace editor, CreateFlowAI delivers a focused creative environment that transforms the content creation process from tedious to engaging.
UX Flow:
- Users visit CreateFlowAI's landing page and are greeted with a Cursor-inspired interface
- Users select their target platform from the interactive sidebar (X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- The middle editor adapts to show platform-specific preview and constraints
- Users input their content ideas or select from AI-generated suggestions
- Real-time preview shows how the content will appear on the selected platform
- Users can save to history, export content, or generate variations
- Gamified dashboard tracks creation progress and unlocks achievement badges

Challenges we ran into 😤
One of the biggest challenges was ensuring AI-generated content aligned with platform constraints and expectations. Each social media platform has unique requirements that needed to be carefully considered:

- Instagram's hashtag emphasis demanded strategic hashtag research and placement
- YouTube and LinkedIn formatting expectations needed platform-specific tone and structure
Another significant challenge was balancing the Cursor-inspired UI with glassmorphism and neon aesthetics while maintaining usability and readability. The design needed to be visually striking without compromising functionality.
Meeting the tight development deadline while maintaining cross-platform functionality and ensuring all features worked seamlessly across different devices and browsers required careful prioritization and efficient development practices.
