Inspiration
My failure in completing the original game inspired me to actually finish the remake had I been planning for a long while, with the cowborg model having been made a long time prior, but the theme of this year's hackathon encouraged me to take the game into a whole different direction. However, that failure has yet again persisted to this year...
What Does It Do?
It's a small story-based FPS about a cyborg cow protecting the farmer's (totally legit) dairy farm from aliens that were taking the cows and turning them into mindless methane spewing cyborgs.
How Did I Build It?
The game was developed in GDevelop with the aid of the new 3D game design features implemented. I should have stuck to 2D.
What Challenges Did I Run Into?
I was better with using the engine, but I didn't look through the docs enough.
What Accomplishments Am I Proud Of?
That I made A Visually Better And Better Functioning Game Than Before. Unfortunately, it's all pointless if the game isn't even playable.
What Did I Learn?
That I still need to get good, and I'm still bad at this.
What's Next for CowBorg: Galactic Vengence?
Don't know.
