We are all currently living through a difficult time and some of us need reliable information and a simple way to access information about how the world is dealing with COVID-19.
COVID-Watchers is a website for accessing information about COVID-19 in South Korea and the world.
Our team and I used HTML to make a website by watching tutorials on the internet.
We were all very inexperienced with coding so it was very hard to make an app in general. Specifically, making the front-end of the app was the most difficult.
The fact that all of my teammates and I were inexperienced in making apps, made this a very difficult process in general but, in particular, the most challenging part was communicating with my team despite not being there in person to meet with them.
Overall, I learned how to make a fully functioning app. But, the most important thing I learned is how to use HTML to build a front-end.
My team and I will continue to build on this app by adding new pieces of information and improving the display so that the way we convey our information is more simple yet effective.
