Inspiration
Over the past few days, we saw a dramatic spike in the number of cases in the US and more specifically, NYC, where the members of this team are from. We wanted a way to accurately crowdsource reports and provide help and information for those in need.
That's why we built COVID Watch, a free app for the public to get accurate information about the virus and a prediction of where the virus could spread next depending on weather, population density, public transit, and many other factors. We built this in hopes that we can build a strong, more adaptive global community especially in times like this.
