Inspiration
Fixed leases are getting less popular with companies. Large companies are transiting their offices from a fixed lease to flexible lease. Why? Cost. Time. It cost more to take a loan on a fixed lease. It takes time to set up a usable working space.
Research is changing with millenials. We use to love patents but now we love open source more. R&D does not happen in a silo. Allowing interaction in a research space sparks new ideas, creativity and innovation.
What it does
We provide a platform for owners with unoccupied factory spaces to create a flexible researching and working lab which allows deep tech companies, SMEs, startups to come into a working space that they feel ready to start working.
How we built it
An application to control the entry into the space, control the air-conditioning and other facilities in the future.
Challenges we ran into
We had a tough time coming up with a way to allow researchers to share their ideas and concepts without infringing on company's secret sauce.
What's next for CoSpace
