With the rise of the COVID pandemic and social media presence, people are required to become increasingly vigilant and active with their personal health and safety. Devices such as a lateral flow assay can help by providing individuals the ability to access self-diagnostic test results quickly and independently.
What it does
The Buffer Boss is a simple, intuitive home device that allows individuals to perform their own blood sample readings. With the push of a button, the buffer solution is deposited onto a lateral flow assay and read using an LED-lighting-controlled camera. This information is displayed on a GUI which is incorporated into the device design.
