Inspiration Mental health is a critical concern within the construction workforce, and our collaboration with Procore and B1M inspired us to develop a chatbot solution that enhances access to mental health resources.
What it does CoreCare, our chatbot, leverages artificial intelligence to support construction workers by guiding them to essential mental health resources, including those offered by Procore. It offers a range of helpful links related to mental health.
How we built it The development of CoreCare involved creating the front-end interface using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. For the chatbot functionality, we harnessed the power of Google's DialogFlow service.
Challenges we ran into Our primary challenge was training the AI model to accurately understand the intent and emotions of the users, which required substantial effort and expertise.
Accomplishments that we're proud of We take pride in successfully incorporating AI technology into CoreCare and gaining valuable knowledge in the process.
What's next for CoreCare Our future plans for CoreCare include the development of dedicated iOS and Android mobile applications. We also aim to establish a direct connection with Procore to track and analyze patterns in the mental health of the construction workforce, further enhancing the support we provide.
