Inspiration

We're all very passionate about mental health, and especially since it is Mental Health Awareness Month and with the unfortunate and difficult times during COVID-19, we wanted to bring light to the various issues that people have experienced, and help to alleviate stress.

What it does

Our website provides a culmination of mental health resources - from providing help with anxiety, ADHD, depression, to suicide prevention - so that we can keep each other's well-being in check.

How we built it

We used Visual Studio Code to create our website with programming languages HTML/CSS. We used complementary sample website structure from W3Schools.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge we ran into was learning the syntax of HTML. There were some functions we had to learn how to do. In addition, another challenge we faced was merging the code with our group members so that we could effectively match each other's edits.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of getting a working product. Since most of the group is beginner to coding, we were most focused on learning rather than creating a working product, but we were able to accomplish both!

What we learned

We learned many functions in HTML and CSS. We also learned how to design in CSS and formatting the code to work effectively.

What's next for Conquering Mental Health

Creating a community tab where people can share their experiences!
