Connected Coaching

Inspiration

One of our friends was getting workouts from his coach - as they were not able to meet in person. His coach sent him the workout every day by text. We created a more robust solution that will work for the long term.

What it does

Allows for easy instruction from coaches to students. Students and coaches can be parts of multiple classes and can set schedules for when tasks must be completed.

How we built it

We used firebase auth in order to sign the user in and firebase so that we would be able to add an online database with all different classes and information.

Challenges we ran into

In order to have the option of logging out of firebase, we had to consolidate multiple files into a single SPA. This led to many difficulties.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The design of the website and the simple yet elegant execution.

What we learned

We learned how to use firebase.

What's next for Connected Coaching

More options for submitting work and statistics for coaches to see athlete's progress. Also, support for use on a laptop or computer (optimized only for phone right now).

At the minute, only optimized for phone usage.
