Confess-o-bot

Inspiration

Introverts have always been hesitant to open out, which has gotten worse in modern internet world owing to covid. Hence we wanted to create something to help those who are shy to speak up but want to share their opinions. And since discord platform went to a boom due to the lockdowns, we thought why not leverage this platform for our bot.

What it does

This platform allows people to express themselves while protecting their privacy and identities. People can share their opinions (or even confess their love!) here.

How we built it

We built it using nodejs,discord apis,vanilla stack and styled using tailwind css.

Challenges we ran into

Connecting the bot to discord plateform was a obstacle for us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Able to connect discord with our server and finally learn about using discord apis with node.

What we learned

Working with discord APIs with nodejs and working of webhooks.

What's next for Confess-o-bot

Adding more features like adding images,gifs and tags to confessions!
