Inspiration
Healthcare information is often difficult to access or obtuse. Access is often easier to providers then patients.
What it does
Condition Collection compiles and automatically translates healthcare information in a simplistic and extensible manner. Through our project healthcare information is made more accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
How we built it
Condition Collection is built as a Python-Flask website. The site displays compiled information in an easy to read manner.
Challenges we ran into
Flask is a very useful tool but it has lots of small catches which hung us up a few times throughout the process. Lots of Stackoverflow Threads got us through however!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building a tool to improve health literacy among the undeserved, creating a more equitable world.
What we learned

- LexiComp is a great resource for providers to find information that they can make more accessible be placing on the Collection ## What's next for Condition Collection We plan to compiler more entries for a broad range of disease states and medications
