Inspiration
HubSpot's Hackathon 2021 Theme Contest was our inspiration. We love the idea of submitting themes to our favourite platform and had a great time in 2020. There is a lot of money on the line too. We like money. We have a small amount that we keep in a jar on our kitchen table. We'd like to put more in that jar. That was also a part of our inspiration.
What it does
What doesn't it do!? There are 70+ modules, page variations for all the main things you'd need to make a B2B SaaS website (homepage, blog, blog detail page, about us page, team pages, services pages) and all completely drag and drop. You also have your system pages and of course a language switcher!
How we built it
Comptech was built using HTML, CSS, jQuery and javascript
Challenges we ran into
Finding the time! Managing client work with our internal work.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Proud we finished it before the deadline. Proud that we are able to contribute to the HubSpot community in this fun and exciting way. Proud to be able to give HubSpot users another option to choose from when picking a HS theme.
What we learned
We learned we enjoy Hackathons and might like to do more in the future.
What's next for Comptech
First we finish this submission and then we'll see what the next steps are! They might involve, pizza, ice cream or french fries. Or all 3. But time will tell! It's 6:37 AM.
