Inspiration
Our inspiration derives from the lost sense of community during the pandemic. We reflected that the pandemic induced a lot of mental health issues due no support or a community to fall back on. Thus, to bring the community closer in one click we created ComeUnity. This is to allow seniors, adults, and teens to still have the same feelings of belonging in a close neat community. Hence our slogan, "Standing together, Stronger than ever."
What it does
This is a platform for residence, communal apartments, old age homes, etc to access virtual activities within the community to feel closer to one another and also be active throughout this pandemic. It gives a platform for workshops, fitness classes, and many more within the app. It also allows business to also gain exposure by hosting their services on the platform.
How we built it
We used Android studio and java to put together this app.
