What it does

Colored dots, which have random speeds and initial locations, move around the field and bounce off the edges. You can also view a web of them where any two dots are connected.

How I built it

Python and Pygame

Challenges I ran into

After adding pretty buttons, the keyboard inputs were unreliable and sometimes broken. I had to remove the buttons.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Having all kinds of different ways to view the dots, with minimal lag Making a working game with newly-learned Pygame

What I learned

How to make games in Pygame Averaging RGB hex colors Input methods and their challenges (keyboard vs mouse buttons)...

What's next for Colored Dot Bounce

A "game" where you're one of the dots and move around, avoiding the other dots. The dots are repelled by the mouse pointer.
