I have a designer friend and I have seen how challenging it can be to select the perfect color palette for a project. There are so many factors to consider – the intended mood, the brand's color guidelines, the target audience – and sometimes it can feel like an overwhelming task. That's why I was inspired to create this app, which helps alleviate some of the pressure of choosing a color palette.
I learned a lot while building this project. I spent time researching color theory and how different hues and shades can affect the overall look and feel of a design. I also experimented with different algorithms and techniques for generating color palettes based on a user's input.
To build the app, I used a combination of HTML, CSS, and Python. One of the biggest challenges I faced was finding the right balance between providing enough customization options for the user, while still keeping the app simple and easy to use. I also had to make sure the app was able to handle a wide range of inputs and generate palettes that were cohesive and visually appealing.
Overall, I'm really proud of how this project turned out and I hope it can help other designers streamline their color selection process.
