Inspiration

Version control, hard to collaborate on art

What it does

Allows artists to maintain a history of their digital art, and allows teams to use merge requests to work collaboratively and review each others work. It also allows exploring the history of an artwork.

How we built it

We used Go to build a backend with version control and image manipulation functionalities. The frontend was built with HTMX.

Challenges we ran into

We had issues linked to artifacts in images, but these were resolved by using lossless compression formats.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a tool that offers useful, powerful, and reliable features

What we learned

We improved our Go a lot, as well as our appreciation of the power of version control.
