While working on multiple projects, we constantly ran into issues like losing track of code changes, forgetting what a piece of code was for, and struggling with team communication. These moments made us wish for a platform that could act like a smart manager — organizing code history, syncing tasks, and even helping with productivity. That’s how CodeChrono was born.

CodeChrono is a SaaS platform that:

•Tracks code history with a timeline view

•Lets team members document their changes and decisions

•Uses AI to help fix bugs and generate code snippets

•Includes built-in team communication

•Has many different AI agents to suggest launch ideas

•Makes collaboration smooth and organized

Built using:

Frontend: React.js & Tailwind CSS

Backend: Node.js with Express

Database: Firebase (for real-time sync)

Deployment: GitHub + Vercel

Challenges we ran into

•Replit didn't allow full deployment without Pro, which slowed us down

•Syncing files between Replit, GitHub, and Vercel took some time

•Git authentication errors due to password-based access being removed

•We had to learn how to connect real-time databases and fix version control issues on the go

Accomplishments we’re proud of Fully functional MVP in a short time

•Seamless integration of AI for code generation and bug assistance

•A clean, beautiful UI with a smooth user experience

•Pushed past deployment and Git issues as a team

What’s next for CodeChrono

•Add voice command support (like: "Find last change in this file")

•Build a browser extension for devs to track code across tabs

•Add team productivity insights (who’s working on what)

•Launch public beta and onboard real teams for feedback

•Polish the marketing assistant with smarter AI prompts
