Inspiration
All the times that we have struggled with finding the right solution to a problem. Sometimes it's hard finding help!
What it does
It scrapes the web to find links and then uses chatgpt to summarize what was said on them. It can then provide all the links we gave it. It can even watch videos and give a summary with links provided.
How we built it
We used basic web scraping to get a link that would work. Then we used langchain and chatgpt to make it read the whole article or video it came across.
Challenges we ran into
We had to learn to web scrape or web scrape with python. We also had to learn about connecting different languages which was python and java. we also had to restart our project some way in. Then we ran into legal concerns about web scrapers.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making a web scraper that works very well and is super accurate.
What we learned
Making a web scraper and teamwork, plus some more knowledge of langauges we didn't know much about.
What's next for Code search
We want code search to work for different subjects which actually won't be hard or time consuming.
