Inspiration
Khan Academy, Dev.to, and Codepen were really awesome inspirations for me.
What it does
CodeCrystals is a website for frontend development where users can store projects and even communicate with each other. Other features include a live preview that updates as you code and a live website for each project and all of it is completely free.
How I built it
I used Flask as the backend framework and HTML/CSS/JS (DOM) and Font Awesome to make this.
Challenges I ran into
I have never made something as advanced as this before so I had quite some trouble with Notifications. At all else, it was pretty smooth.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am happy that I could make this to help others out and that I was able to make this in about fourteen hours
What I learned
Lots of stuff. I always learn as I code and now I know how to do notifications and emailing.
What's next for Code Crystals
Maybe some additional updates in the future.
