Inspiration
Climate change is a growing threat that increases severity of natural disasters [1]. Solar energy generation is a tool to mitigate climate change and the severity of natural disasters such as hurricanes.
What it does
We built a dashboard app with intelligent machine learning models and a data web app to improve forecasting methods of solar power generation.
How we built it
We used Azure's machine learning tools, Python with Streamlit and Pandas, and Swift to create the dashboard and presentation.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to finish our first in-person hackathon and have built a fully functional dashboard app with machine learning.
What we learned
We learned that trying new technologies can be fun and super rewarding!
