Inspiration

We were inspired by the clockwise extension AI and wanted to expand on that to help larger-scale scheduling.

What it does

It takes the schedules of a large number of users and outputs a schedule that best fits all the users.

How we built it

We used a google calendar extension to get the schedules and pass the data to the AI to get the best schedule for all the users. For the practice data for the model, we made our own random synthesized data that represented users' schedules.

Challenges we ran into

We all had a lot of challenges with the data for the model that we were using for the schedule builder. In the front end, we struggled to learn all the things that it took to make a website.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we finished the AI that gives a schedule for all the users and the website.

What we learned

We learned a lot about how to make a schedule optimizer AI and we learned how to work better with HTML and CSS.

What's next for Co-Cal

We will make Co-Cal work on multiple different calendars.
