Inspiration

I was inspired by the fact that implementing a system like the one I created can help save a life / prevent the accident that happened in the case study (the air ambulance situation)

What it does

It tracks patients and referrals in a database, rating each patient with a risk score based on health factors and more, then we put the patient in a priority queue so coordinators immediately see which patients are at risk

How we built it

As I am a beginner, AI was a big help to build my visualizations and ideas, I used prompt engineering to ensure I got exactly what I envisioned, constantly tweaking things along the way

Challenges we ran into

This was my first time implementing a database / backend into a web application, so I had to learn about implementing API's and do continuous testing to ensure my program works.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I was able to build a modern comprehensive frontend with actually useful features, without knowing much beforehand.

What we learned

I learned the full process of full stack development

What's next for Clearwater Care

Features for SMS messaging or a more complex driver system would have been nice
