Clap Collider

Inspiration

Inspired by the "bridging between worlds" theme we wanted to bridge between the physical and auditory world. Instead of moving to music that already exists we wanted te get people moving to create music.

What it does

Clap or throw your hands in the air to start a drum beat looping. Simply swipe your hand to change modes and add a melody to your masterpiece.

How we built it

Split into three tasks, frontend, pose estimation and music creation.

Challenges we ran into

How to record a new instrument starting at the middle of the loop.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Meeting the vision we had in our heads at the start of the hackathon.
