Inspiration
We are afraid of the current political state that our country is in, namely the stance that we have on climate change, an issue that we feel is incredibly important as it can determine the fate of our planet. We wanted to make sure that we did all we could in our power to make a difference regarding this critical issue.
What it does
Our product has users create accounts and then helps them track their carbon dioxide emissions to determine how they are impacting our environment.
How we built it
We built it using html, css, javascript and firebase.
Challenges we ran into
We had many issues getting firebase to work.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we created a product that can help save the environment and that we gained lots of new knowledge on how to use firebase.
What we learned
We learned that the complexity of the product is not as important as much as the impact it has on the world around us.
What's next for cImpact
We want to create a mobile app so that people can track their carbon dioxide emissions on the go.
