Inspiration
There have been many times when people ate food all by themselves - what a sad experience. Nothing new to talk about, nothing new to learn.
What it does
Chow Time solves this exact problem. Create an event for your favourite restaurant and wait for some awesome people to come along, enjoy great food and have a fantastic conversation.
How we built it
We used Android Studio (featuring Java). For the backend we focused on using Google's FireBase to store relevant app information.
Challenges we ran into
There are always challenges in terms of bringing the big project into small consumable pieces that could be efficiently split properly between the team members.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Able to successfully use Google's API, FireBase integration and overall UI design functionality.
What we learned
We learned how to diligate tasks, focus on relevant problems and effective team communication.

Possible harasmsment reports to keep various users safe from possible strangers that exploit this meeting service.
