What it does
It is a 2D platformer mainly based on precision and tapping the spacebar.
How we built it
We made a GitHub repository and then worked using Godot 4.1 and a few different pixel art apps/websites. Up to two people would code at a time, and 1 - 2 of us would make sprites.
Challenges we ran into
- The need for sleep
- Gliding only working while moving
- Trying to figure out how to make the tile maps work
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We got through most of what we had planned.
- The game was actually pretty difficult
What we learned
- How to better use Godot and GitHub
What's next for CHICKEN!?!
- Adding different skins that can be purchased in a shop for coins in order to make there be customization
