Inspiration

During festive seasons, relatives who drive usually complain to us when they arrive, because they could not find parking spaces. Thus, we took inspiration from Capitaland, which showed vacancies in carpark of its shopping mall. We took up the challenge to implement a similar concept for HDB carparks.

What it does

To help drivers plan ahead with their journey during peak festive seasons.

Challenges we ran into

We could not link up backend with frontend due to limit manpower and time constraints.

What we learned

How to make use of firebase to store data, though we could not link it up with our frontend. How to make use of bootstrap to design a futuristic webpage.

What's next for Check then Go

Implement the link between backend and frontend as what our proposed idea was. Implement other features to improve user experience, like autocomplete. Expand on the possibility of adding social media profiles.
