inspiration

chatgpt is popular, and omegle is funny. kinda inspired by the turing test.

what it does

it's literally fake chatgpt. someone is on the admin side, acting as the bot, and one person is tricked into using the fake chatgpt ui.

how it's built (built different)

sveltekit, tailwindcss, socket.io, typescript, render.com, vercel.

challenges

getting the websockets to work on render.com, because this is the first time i've ever messed around with websockets before.

stuff i'm proud of

it's pretty funny, and i really like how the ui for both the admin and fake site.

what i learned (a lot)

i learned how to use websockets, as well as hosting websockets on a server. i had to use vercel to host the actual website, and render.com to host the server service.
