Inspiration

Supressing one's own emotions, whether they are upbeat or misfortunate, is not healthy. Because singing is a form of expression, even if individuals aren't able to remember lyrics or muster up the time and creativity to write their own, people can smile with their words and let out pent up frustration to novel lyrics of many styles.

What it does

ChatGPT Rapper curates methods of making communication & speaking languages (likely up and beyond from American and British English) sound spotless holistically while applying as many lyrical means to an end of making it an a capella work of art(ificial intelligence). Users can use this minuscle application to further brighten up hobbies of playing instruments with accompaniment of singing or even someone else's day.

How we built it

Android Studio was where most of the code edits were seen through. ChatGPT, though it is not applied in the end product itself, earns itself a name in the project title by writing the most code out of anyone involved; lastly, Canva was used to gather assets to combine into a greater one which is showcased here and in the codebase.

Challenges we ran into

This app may make it a bit easier to rap songs/spit bars, but the circumstances were not in the favor of a completed and oriented navigation bar. I also was not able to make ends meet, regarding the CAMB.AI's API endpoint(s) that were caught in the middle of the project's semantic structure.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of wrapping this project up; I commend myself and my peers that I worked alongside for staying up as long as they did! I absolutely loved working in a group of much camaraderie even though I chose wholeheartedly to operate alone.

What we learned

Though I do put effort throughout the entire hacking period and before, I must take into account the truest fact which is that a successful and rejoiceful implementation of a lone feature in some part of the end goal should not takeaway from the commitment of finishing the project. I can say that I tried a lot to get the second major stage of the product to function; however, I fell short and lost cohesiveness of both drive and doing. Finally, no one should ever take a ChatGPT wrapper project for granted because they are subtle tellings of humble beginnings and a steadfast yearning for more to come in the future (I am talking about other projects I have seen—not this one, don't worry).

What's next for ChatGPT Rapper

It's an okay naming and rhetorical pun of a project title. Yet, as a standalone project: it doesn't live up to what people are looking for especially at hackathons. I guess I can literally call myself a ChatGPT rapper since I prompt engineer a jumbo, jumbled (that sounds cool but only sometimes) input for the chatbot at every visit and/or stay.
