Inspiration

We both have a lot of the same classes and we both tend to forget when certain assignments are due. In addition to that, we’re both not fond of written agendas/typical reminder apps. That’s why we wanted to create a straight-forward and simple to use reminder website.

What it does

On our website, you can create daily tasks and you can check them off once you complete them.

How we built it

We built the website on a platform called replit. We used html, java, and css to code it. (video describes more)

Challenges we ran into

In the beginning, the spacing of our home page was screwed up, and we couldn’t see all of the text properly. We were also confused on what platform to code the website on.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is our first hackathon, so we’re really proud of the fact that we did not have anyone's help and we were able to solve all of the problems we faced. Even with our limited knowledge in html, css, and java we were able to create a functional website that effectively solves a real-life problem.
