Traditional credit systems exclude millions of financially responsible people, especially immigrants, students, and first-time borrowers, by relying on opaque credit histories instead of real financial behavior. People can manage money well and still be labeled high risk simply because they lack a traditional credit file.
Sadie was built to challenge that model. Using Capital One’s Nessie API, Sadie evaluates realistic banking behavior without putting real users at risk and focuses on what people actually do with their money, not what legacy credit systems assume about them.
Sadie is a behavior-first, explainable credit intelligence system that protects and builds credit in real time. It analyzes transactions, income, bills, and spending patterns to identify interpretable signals like income stability, bill payment reliability, liquidity buffers, and utilization risk, then acts before harm occurs.
Instead of issuing unclear scores, Sadie intervenes at the point of decision. When a purchase would damage credit health, Sadie explains the impact, recommends the safest action, and can automatically trigger Smart Bridge transfers from savings to prevent utilization spikes before the swipe.
A voice-native AI guide makes these decisions transparent and accessible, answering questions like “Why would this hurt my credit?” and “What should I do instead?” By combining real-time intervention with clear explanation, Sadie lowers barriers to credit access, builds financial confidence, and enables inclusion without requiring prior credit history.
