Cardboard Cleaner

Inspiration

We went to Chipotle and we saw that our food stained cardboard can't be recycled.

What it does

Cardboard cleaner aims to dissolve the oils using surfactants so clean cardboard can be made and recycled. The food oils will be properly disposed off.

How we built it

We used chemical analysis to make our solution.

Challenges we ran into

We struggled to find the proper way to integrate our product into the recycling change.

What's next for Cardboard Cleaner

Cardboard cleaner needs further chemical R&D, coordination with local business and recycling plants, and working with yelp and google to create an environmental tag for the businesses.
