Inspiration
What began as a simple tool to suggest shared interests and activities for entertainment between two friends soon transformed into something far greater:
Caravan wanders the desert of your memories, gathering scattered fragments of old conversations and weaving them into an oasis of stories. It reveals the hidden trails between people, places, and moments you thought were lost, helping you rediscover connections across time.
What it Does
Most AI tools today suffer from limited context windows. They forget quickly, misinterpret fragments, and sometimes hallucinate entirely. This makes them clumsy at understanding the full narrative of a life.
Caravan builds a smarter context engine—one that acts as an infinite memory bank. By organizing your past into a living map, it allows AI to guide you toward better decisions, deeper self-understanding, and meaningful growth.
How We Built It
Caravan has two main components:
- Graph Generation: Extracting and structuring relationships from messages into a rich network of people, places, and moments.
- Graph Display: Visualizing that network as a dynamic, interactive map where users can explore their memories.
Challenges We Faced
Time was our greatest constraint. With endless possible features to build, we had to stay disciplined—focusing on a single core mission rather than scattering our energy across every idea.
Accomplishments We're Proud Of
- Built a functioning prototype that turns raw message data into a meaningful, explorable graph.
- Designed a compelling visual experience that feels both personal and universal.
- Created a foundation for a context engine that could scale far beyond this initial project.
What We Learned
We learned that context is everything. Even with powerful AI, without structure and narrative, data is just noise. The challenge isn't just technical—it's deeply human.
What's Next for Caravan
Caravan is in its earliest stages, but the journey ahead is wide open. We're eager to hear feedback, explore partnerships, and refine our mission. If this vision resonates with you, visit our mission page to learn more: camel.solutions/mission
P.S.
Oh, and if you want to know why we wanted to call this project camel solutions, come ask me! Has to do with some memories I analyzed :)
