Inspiration

We were inspired by all of the edits made of media these days, as well as the popularity of Kpop idols and their photocards. Another big inspiration was the desire to make more content with the existing funny photos of our friends, and also show our appreciation for them.

What it does

There are eleven trading cards with a front and a back to them, with different images of our friends on the front and the back. On the back of the card, there is a funny photo present of each of our friends, as well a QR code linking to a short video we made for each of our friends.

How I built it

We built it through Figma, as well as a pixel art editor and CapCut, and mainly designed the layout of trading cards and then visualized and created suitable videos (edits) for each trading card.

Challenges I ran into

Some challenges we ran into were not having enough photos of certain people to make extensive edits, however, we solved this problem with singular photo edits, of which I am very proud of.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud we learned more about Figma and how to utilize it in creating fun, recreational projects which still show appreciation for the friends we've made in college and how important they are to us.

What I learned

We learned how to use Figma for designing purposes, and furthermore, improved our video-editing skills through CapCut.

What's next for Capcut friendship trading cards

MORE!!!!!!!!!!!! MORE MORE MORE!!!! We intend on printing out these trading cards as well for distribution to the friends included on the cards.
