Inspiration

When we started the project, we just had two weeks to complete it; so we researched and figured out an idea that is quite simple to understand and yet very interesting and seeing that most crypto games are usually not as interesting as supposed we decided to build a game that is relatable to everyone.

What it does

During the game the player is meant to drag the basket to avoid the explosives and collect candies and diamonds to win a game and after the game the player is rewarded with our token if he wins but if he looses there is no reward for him.

How we built it

As a team of two proffessionals, we first broke our tasks into Blockchain part and Game part; by this we were both able to focus on different parts of the project; first we focused more on the game aspect of the project to creat simple and interesting content for players to enjoy

Challenges we ran into

We found out about the hackaton quite late and because of this it was difficult for us to keep to time; and also, we had no artist, designer or audio engineer to help us in building the game so everything was done by just the game engineer and most importantly we lacked resources to build the project to it's full potential so we simplified it to be able to meet deadline

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to setup an interesting and functional Crypto game in two weeks The game is so addictive that we plan to continue working on it even after the hackaton We are able to network with fellow developers to achieve our goal

What we learned

We learnt how powerful and accessible phantom blockchain is and we plan using it for lots of other projects we are working on We learnt to work under pressure and unfavorable conditions just to accomplish our goals And our eyes were opened to how broad the crypto space is

What's next for Candy Farm

We will continue developing and adding more features to it
