Inspiration

The inspiration behind the project has been our struggle in finding students to sublet to. When someone's time in college finishes, their lease term often does not. Thus, it is good for students to be able to find someone to take their place.

What it does

CampusNest expedites the process for university students to find a subtenant through a friendly web based interface.

How we built it

The prototype was built with Figma and uses different interfaces to help individuals visualize their experience in the website.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges that were ran into stemmed from sizing and formatting. Oftentimes, it was quite tricky to make sure elements behaved the way they were designed to do so.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to give a good demo of what a user experience would be like. We got many of the features such as the display of the houses as well as a virtual experience would be like when clicking on different elements of the app.

What we learned

We learned that making the UI/UX requires a lot of precision and ensuring that different elements interact with each other in a good manner.

What's next for CampusNest

The next step for CampusNest is to implement the figma into a react project which will get the project running out on the market.
