Let's you see who’s nearby on campus, their status, and current Spotify tracks. Connect through shared music interests and proximity, making finding friends in your favorite study spots easy.

🏆 [MLH] Best Use of Auth0 Winner — Not sure why the organizers never posted the results, but this project was awarded Best Use of Auth0 by MLH.

Campus Connect allows college students to view the music that others nearby are listening to in real-time, along with a custom status and the physical distance between them.

We used Android Studio with Kotlin to develop an app with a WebView and a foreground service. This setup communicates with a server running Flask, which interacts with the Spotify API and other services such as Auth0.
