Inspiration
Typical calorie tracking apps make it time consuming to log the nutrition info of food, and may even provide inaccurate measurements. Our app integrates image recognition AI Models to make nutrition tracking efficient and accurate with a single picture.
What it does
Integrates Google Gemini to analyze input images of food items or barcodes and log nutritional content. Users can log in and save their data or modify estimation values.
How we built it
Streamlit for the web app interface, Google Gemini for image recognition, and SQlite for the database.
Challenges we ran into
Determining which development frameworks to use, how to coordinate different development tasks (frontend, backend)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
