What it does
Cadmium is a unique Savings and Investment Application, that helps you keep up with your savings goals.
You can Add to your savings at any time or allow Cadmium automatically remove the amount you want to save from your account automatically. Your interests are calculated automatically and added to your account . They can be withdrawn when you need.
Cadmium Fixed Lock also allows you to save an amount for a fixed period of time during which you can not access it, helping you get more disciplined with your savings.
Lastly, do you have siblings or friends that you send money to on a schedule e.g maybe you send an amount to your parents every month, with Cadmium Disburse you can easily automate this, once you set it up Cadmium will automatically debit the right amount from your account and send it to your parents for you every month
How we built it
Cadmium was built using Node js, Angular and Rapyds Dicburse, Collect and Wallet APIs
Challenges we ran into
Getting familiar with Rapyds API was a little challenging considering the time we had but was ultimately rewarding since they have APIs for most use cases we wanted to solve
