Inspiration
Everything going on with 2020 and the Virus has caused people to get more involved on social media to promote their favorite causes, a phenomenon our team calls "everyday activism"
What it does
The app in completion will get the Twitter information from the user based on their username and reward them for posting and interacting with posts that have a few keywords related to sustainability.
How I built it
Python, PYQT5, Twitter API.
Challenges I ran into
Implementing different screens simultaneously with PYQT5.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Getting the Twitter API up and running so quickly
What I learned
Connecting pages on the Twitter API and in PYQT5 is much harder to actuate than we realized.
What's next for Bustle
Furthering the project! More shop elements, maybe some ML for the words, more functionality, Cyber-encryption for the password files, etc.
